Synopsis
Sundiata Rivers is no ordinary teenage girl. Gifted with preternatural spiritual abilities, she sees and feels things that others can't. She and her best friend Lucien, accompanied by a mischievous Imp, embark on a thrilling adventure in the year 1876 and in a reality where the United States no longer exists. They travel across the Deep South in search of pirate Jean Lafitte's hidden treasure to negotiate the release of her imprisoned parents from enemy territory in the Wild West. Facing supernatural creatures, treacherous landscapes, and ruthless foes, Sundiata and her friends must summon all their courage and resourcefulness to overcome these obstacles and save her family.
