Synopsis
Josephine St. John, aka Josie, is a woman in the midst of a personal crisis. After inheriting the fortune of her sadistic great aunt Therese, she sees an opportunity to start anew. But there's a catch. In order to claim her inheritance, she must move into Beauvide Manor, her ancestral home in the heart of the South.
As Josie sets out to tie up loose ends in her hometown of Bryanton, Louisiana, she quickly discovers that the past is not so easily left behind. She's haunted by traumatic memories of her mother's mysterious death, the abuse she suffered from her great aunt, and the tragic loss of her brother.
As she delves deeper into her family's history, Josie realizes that she's inherited more than just a fortune. She's also inherited a curse that has plagued the women in her family for generations. With the help of a mysterious man named Raz, an ancestor gifted with immortality by a vengeful demigoddess, Josie must confront the dark secrets of her family's past and break the curse before it's too late.
